Save the words is a website dedicated to preserving words that have now become obsolete in the English language. According to the website, 90% of what we write today is communicated with only 7,000 words. What happens to the precious majority of words that are no longer in use? They become archaic, underused, deleted from our vocabulary. Many of them are gorgeous words that are simply used less often than some of their synonyms. In order to stop this, we must work to put these words back into use! This may not mean incorporating them into the vernacular. But it can mean spreading the word and adopting a word!
